Five with Texas ties tapped
by IMB for missionary service

___Five people with ties to Texas were among 58 mission workers appointed March 17 by the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention.
___David and Alisha Holt will help start churches among the Criollo people of northern Argentina. He will evangelize unbelievers and disciple new believers. She will conduct outreach through church and home, as well as develop media that can be used to share the gospel with the Criollo. Holt previously was youth pastor at Ridgecrest Church in Fort Worth. Mrs. Holt served four months in Mexico with the International Service Corps, a missions program through the IMB. Since 1999, she has worked with Hope for the Heart in Dallas as an audio production coordinator. They consider Northwood Church for the Communities in Keller an influential church in their lives.
___Debbie Inselman will serve as an information technology training specialist for missionaries in central and eastern Europe. She will train and equip personnel in computer skills. She previously was an instructor for the Department of Defense. She currently is attending Southwestern Seminary and is a member at Travis Avenue Baptist Church.
___Gary and Carolyn Miller will minister to the Magyar people in Hungary. Miller will develop strategies for evangelizing and starting churches among the people, while she will conduct outreach through the church and home. Since 1999, the Millers have served in Romania through International Service Corps. Miller previously taught at Budapest Teacher Training College and was pastor of Joy Church in Gladewater. The Millers are members of Southern Oaks Church in Tyler. They have two children--Daniel and Jennifer.
