Baptist Youth Days at Six Flags
___Thousands of teenagers and hundreds of their adult workers participated in the eighth annual Baptist Youth Days at Six Flags over Texas July 29-31.

___The youth also heard such musical guests as Rebecca St. James, Jars of Clay, the W's, Delirious, The Supertones and Audio Adrenaline. The event is co-sponsored by the Baptist General Convention of Texas and Six Flags.
___"Baptist Youth Days is a very high-energy event, and we had teenagers and adult leaders from not only Texas, but from across the Southwest," said Jane Wilson of Dallas, general chairperson.
___Metroplex youth ministers helped coordinate the event. Participating were Grant Byrd, First Baptist Church of McKinney; Wayne McAfee, First Baptist Church of Oak Cliff in Dallas; Kimberly Wirt, First Baptist Church of Hurst; Pamela Culbertson, Royal Haven Baptist Church of Dallas; JD Tomlin, First Baptist Church of Keller; Mike Baker, Shady Oaks Baptist Church of Hurst; Derek Draper, First Baptist Church of Justin; Steve Lucas, Birdville Baptist Church in Fort Worth; Barry Olson, North Fort Worth Baptist Church; Scott Stevens, First Baptist Church of Irving; Keith Tyler, First Baptist Church of Fairview in McKinney; Matt Welborn, North Wood Church in Keller; and Alan Michael, Preston Ridge Baptist Church of Frisco.
